Something we teach in all of our classes is the importance of being aware of the historical context of how particular modalities, training or philosophies have developed. To know the roots of a school of thought is to understand more fully the path from which it has grown. This company, its values and training has its roots anchored in the professional background, philosophy and experience of founder Lori Wilson.
Lori Wilson B.A., M.S.W., founder of Inner Access 101, is a social worker, author, weekly radio show host and trainer. She has been providing channelling, regression, medical intuition, business intuition and traditional counselling in a successful private practice for over 25 years. Recognizing that the demand for service had far exceeded her personal availability, Lori has created a strong network of high caliber practitioners and trainers who can offer these same specialized services. Public interest in seeking solid answers is steady and growing. Self-exploration, self-trust and inner wisdom are here to stay. Lori has used her skills in business and community organization to ensure that people can continue to develop inner access on a much larger scale. A visionary and self-professed “mother bear”, Lori's passion to spread inner trust is evident in all she does. Her mission is to encourage as many people as possible to trust themselves first. Balancing her busy career with family, Lori lives with her husband Stewart Hope and their sons in Guelph, Ontario.
Stewart has partnered in the development and ongoing operations of Inner Access 101 since its inception. His desktop, office, computer and administrative support skills have provided the technical foundation upon which this company is built.
A third key influence in shaping the foundation skills and values of Inner Access 101 is Grandmother, the ancient Shoshone spirit guide that Lori has been consciously channelling since 1989. Grandmother came gently into Lori's awareness through writing and has since been a key inspiration to thousands through her monthly website focus, books, radio show wisdom and teachings for individuals and larger audiences. Much of the material taught in the Inner Access 101 Access Intuition 101 class and Channeling as a Profession is based on Lori's years of blending firsthand, client-driven social work experience with a solid apprenticeship with Grandmother and the spirit world.
In the year 2000, Lori Wilson realized that she had outgrown her personal capacity for serving individual clients and teaching. The request for service was increasing yearly. In an effort to meet ever growing demands for qualified practitioners, skill development and training while still keeping personal relationships a top priority, we at Inner Access 101 are honoured to rise to the challenges of expanding from a one-person operation to an international organization. In 2001 we created a "Train the Trainers" program and began teaching selected graduates to also lead the three classes Lori had developed and offered in channelling, regression, medical intuition and business intuition. Inner Access 101 was created as a direct response to student demand for quality resources and training in these areas. Each of the Inner Access 101 trainers are required to successfully complete between 4-6 Modules in each class they teach over a 1 - 2 year period. Currently there are 11 trainers with several others in the application process. As well as completing the training modules, Inner Access 101 trainers are required to attend retreats for upgrading and resource sharing. This is a chance to network, restore as well as to ensure that their standards for training are updated regularly. We are thankful for the partnership, interest of the public and the skill of our trainers in expanding inner trust.
